It's a nice and at times quiet place for you to have a drink in peace while you are solving the world's problems.
Very cosy pub with a lovely Guinness
A bit boring pub compared to what Dublin has to offer
Lovely vibe and nice pints!
Absolutely excellent pub, great pints of Guinness and staff are so friendly
Great place for a night out if you don't want a boogie and would prefer to chat for a while. Also, pints are some of the tastiest in Dublin! Definitely try the 1664 Blanc
Jammed. Chaos. Aggressive bouncers one of whom seemed to only shout at women. When a man 'blocked' the door, he said nothing a woman trying to navigate the same space, shouted at. Bar staff were friendly, pints were good.
Great place for after work beers. Friendly staff and good.beer selection helps establish this place as a stable. Don't go here for fancy cocktails but you can sit outside and you can have great craic inside with all you friends.
If Tony, the original owner was alive he would turn in his grave
Barmen were real characters , excellent.Only complaint was the toilets were in rag order, over flowing with effluent
Great place for a pint during the week. Great staff behind the bar and always good atmosphere. It's very busy during the weekends though
Full of literary geniuses. They got new toilets in ,it was gas watching all the literary brigade staggering into the ladies by mistake after the change. Genius has it's price as they say.Excellent pints, I lived on toasted ham 'n cheese sandwhiches and Guiness for a week last time I flew home from Texas.Ya couldn't beat it with a big stick.
The bartender could do with some training.... Who serves warm bottled water without a class with ice? Not a fan of the vibe inside regardless.
Ideal location, good vibes
Really nice and different pub in the centre of Dublin, which is quite hard to find nowadays. We danced the night away and had a ball 😂
One of the best pubs in Dublin. Great friendly staff?
Very crowded on Friday evening, cool people, friendly staff, nice pub.. Don't know why but I had there the best Guinness while my stay in Dublin 🤷♂️
As a Dubliner, this is my all time favourite pub in Dublin. It just exudes unpretentious, coolness. It is always a popular haunt with locals almost every night of the week but the weekend is when you see Hogan's at its best. It's a place where young and old can mingle and no-one would bat an eyelid as we say in Dublin. Right in the centre of Dublin, it's the kind of haunt where you can start your night off with a bang or stay there all night as there is usually a DJ downstairs if you fancy a boogie. If you haven't been, go. It has, in my opinion, the best atmosphere of any pub in Dublin.
Enjoyed our group meet up..busy but good atmosphere...
Not bad busy and nice pint
Grand place, good music and atmosphere. The beer is great, good choice and brilliant pint of Guinness. You can have a beer upstairs and outside or go for a pretty good dance downstairs. Bar staff are friendly and efficient.
Nice bar with loads of outdoor seating. Just at the corner with a bunch of different food places around. Toilets were clean. The general aesthetics of the establishment was comforting. Staff were great too with quick service at the bar.
Lovely traditional old pub. Excellent Guinness!
One of my favourite bars. Great atmosphere filled with great people. Staff are there years and are friendly and efficient. Always great music in the background.
Very dark inside. Not a massive amount of seating. Staff quite friendly though!
Definitely the place to go if you are looking for old school retro games.
Popped in on a Monday night- relaxed ambience and quiet pints in a corner. Bar staff seemed friendly and recommended a decent pint of IPA. Can't fault the experience. Lovely.
Good fun! Great for chatting out side and spacious inside with beautiful decor. Good selection of drinks. Had a great night!
I thoroughly enjoy this pub and always try to squeeze in a visit whenever I'm having a few drinks in town. It can get very busy but that's to be expected for the location.
This is a great afterwork drinks spot. Some nice out door seats when the weather is decent. Just make sure to get in early to get a seat as it gets packed quick!
We had a great time with friends. Later in the evening it is very lively and cozy. Definitely recommend to visit.
class pub, great location
Nice relaxing bar, great location. We had few pints of Guinness and it's so fresh and delicious than usual! Two friendly bartenders offered great service. Thank you 🙂
Always enjoyable and plenty of room for large groups.
Nice place for a drink, not sure they do food? but we popped in here after a long day shopping (and drinking) and could of stayed all night, the place is big but very atmospheric, it looks like it has a lot of history but the main thing is we had a great drink in a nice relaxing spot near the bar. The bar staff were very friendly and we were left wondering how good must this place be when it is full of people later in the evening and a band is playing, again this is another bar we will return to in Dublin!!.
Trendy spot on Fade Street to get a drink. Unfortunately the selection of drinks is quite limited.
It's a pub. Doesn't pretend to be anything else. Good pub.
Grand place to go for a drink. Busy at the weekends and good fun.
This place gets intensely crowded on sunny days and after work. Seating is near impossibly to find and the service can be very slow. Not a great option if you're looking for a chill evening.
One of the best pints of Guinness in town. Good dancefloor in the basement
Great service and holds a special place for me
Great boozer, special mention to one of the barmen Ben who was on the ball all night, showed the card machine as he tapped and a general nice bloke. Top marks for a boozer, extra marks for Ben
Went here after work for a few pints. Big, dark pub with a rustic feel. Slower pace here, with lots of seating. You can have conversations here as it's not too loud, but it's more for a calm few pints rather than e.g. pre drinks or a date.
Hogans is good. Staff very pleasant.
How could you not be captivated by such a great. Its a great big build. And i live beside the stadium. Love to photo different place's here and around it. Holds 88:000 ppl. What a Monster stadium.
Great music, great buzz, great staff
Convenient location on Dublin's grafton street area.Lacks seating inside, as the place gets busy in the afternoon. Toilets needs renovation
Always good for a night out. Expect good lively atmosphere which especially works well if you're a larger group.
Great spot for the after work crowd or a starter pub for a nite out
Great place for a pint. It's busy but big enough to usually get a seat. Most of the bar staff are very on the ball. Great atmosphere.
